Because little air can escape, it creates a sauna type effect for the plants. Those who are getting started or building a greenhouse, may wonder which plants do best in a warmer climate greenhouse.
Tropical plants seem to be the ones who do the best inside a heated greenhouse. They are used to the extreme temperatures. Vegetation like tomatoes will not prosper in degrees above 90 inside a greenhouse. The extreme temperatures will not allow them to flower, which is what is essential for growth.
Orchids are a simple plant to grow and being inside the greenhouse is a great way to have prosperous. Those wanting to grow vegetation will have great success with lettuce and Asian greens, as they are easy and thrive on the warm temperatures. Growing plants in a greenhouse can be a cinch. Knowing which flowers work best might take some trial and error.
